Simon’s video diary: How research changed my life

Simon suffers from juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and crohn’s disease. Taking part in research has given him a new lease of life and helped him to get on with his education. He is also a consumer representative on a¬†Clinical Studies Group. The group is responsible for addressing research priorities and helping to ensure that studies on medicines for children with rheumatology conditions, e.g.¬†arthritis, Lupus etc. are developed and carried out in the best ways to meet the needs of the children and their families.
