Inclusive Research eLearning resource
The Inclusive Research eLearning resource has been developed for researchers, research staff, and public contributors – to help develop and apply an inclusive approach to research.
To be effective and relevant for everyone, clinical research needs to involve people from all backgrounds, address barriers to inclusion, and promote environments where everyone feels included, respected and valued.
The open-access eLearning module has been co-developed by Vocal, alongside patient and community leaders (including the Black Asian and Minority Ethnic Research Advisory Group), NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre researchers, Manchester CRF researchers and research staff, and The University of Manchester’s i3HS Hub.
The course takes around two to three hours to complete, but can worked through at your own pace. It draws on case studies and data from Greater Manchester and is relevant for everyone involved clinical research.
