Biobank Activities & Services
Our biobank offers a comprehensive range of activities and services, including obtaining patient consent, as well as the collection and transportation of fresh tissue samples.
We also provide banking for freshly frozen specimens, including surplus surgical materials from operating rooms and wound debridement in outpatient settings.
Fresh tissue specimens can be made available for viable cell studies, and we can connect tissue specimens to relevant clinical and pathological data.
While some materials mentioned below may originate from a patient’s wound, we also have healthy tissue that is routinely discarded during surgery.
Potential donors may consent to donate any of the following:
- Fat

- Nerve
- Exudate
