BRC themes – Cancer Precision Medicine and Cancer Prevention and Early Detection
Katharine Cresswell leads the PPIE work for the Cancer Precision and Cancer Prevention and Early Detection themes within the Manchester Biomedical Research Centre as well as the Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre at St Mary’s Hospital. In addition she runs ‘Your Rheum’, a national young person’s research advisory group for those aged 11-24 years with rheumatic conditions. Before joining the Public Programmes Team in 2016, Katharine completed an undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences and worked for several years in project management and consultancy roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
