Mr Naseer Ahmad
Mr Ahmad started his role as Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary in 2015.
He specialises in diabetic foot surgery, particularly complex hybrid ultra-distal revascularisations and is lead for diabetic surgery at Salford Royal Infirmary.
He, along with Mr Tawqeer Rashid and Dr Frank Bowling, forms the specialist lower limb salvage team that has reduced major amputations in CMFT by a third.
His award winning research interest is health inequalities around lower limb amputations.
He is currently involved with re-designing vascular services across Greater Manchester.
