Natalie Hill
Study Co-ordinator
My research career began at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield before standardisation and streamlining had come into play. I learnt the basics of CRF design, ethics submission and protocol creation; this was my first role with patient contact which I found very rewarding. I spent some time at the University of Liverpool conducting basic research before moving to The Christie as a Clinical Trial Coordinator. I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in commercial and non-commercial research there, before joining the Paediatric Research Team at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital in 2016.
In my present role, I am currently responsible for feasibility, set-up, study delivery, invoicing, close out and archiving. I adore the variety of this position and specifically enjoy meeting patients and their families – I love following their progress through the research journey
