Public Programmes Project Manager

Susannah joined the Public Programmes Team in 2016 and leads the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) work for the Musculoskeletal and Dermatology themes within the Manchester Biomedical Research Centre. Within this role she facilitates the Manchester RUG MSK, a research user group for people with musculoskeletal conditions.

Before joining the team Susannah worked for 10 years in the Science and Industry Museum’s Learning Department, holding various roles including managing the museum’s contemporary science programme and developing events for the Manchester Science Festival, combining arts and science. Susannah’s PPIE work is driven by her aim to make science and research accessible and relevant to the public.
