Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement in Research

Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) with research can be done in different ways. Examples include:

• Encouraging members of the public to join advisory groups supporting research
• Reviewing grant proposals and research methodologies
• Contributing as active partners in research
• Helping with data collection or analysis
