Band 6 part-time funded Masters in Clinical Research studentships

An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered Band 6 nurses and midwives, currently working in clinical practice at Central Manchester Foundation Trust (CMFT), who would relish the opportunity of commencing a fully funded Masters in Clinical Research (MRes) in September 2016.

The ideal candidate should have no more than five years post qualifying experience and have a passion for research and have demonstrated a strong performance in their nursing/ midwifery degree, ideally a  2:1  or above.

The University of Manchester is able to fully fund three MRes studentships commencing in September 2016.  The MRes is an ideal course for healthcare professionals who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge in research and seek a career in research or wish to pursue a variety of careers where research is a core component. The course provides an ideal foundation for PHD study. The course is mainly delivered online, but includes two 4 day campus-based study schools during September and January and two mid-semester days.
