BBC follows Manchester CRF patient on cancer research study

The NIHR Manchester Clinical Research Facility (CRF) comprises four dedicated experimental medicine research units at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI), Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital (RMCH) and Wythenshawe Hospital.

Dave Kearney was diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer in 2016.

In December 2019 BBC North West Tonight followed Dave and his wife Amanda, on his journey through a clinical research trial at NIHR Manchester CRF at The Christie.
