First Dementia Matters session takes place in Stockport

The first Dementia Matters seminar took place at Aquinas College in Stockport on February 2 led by Olivia O’Sullivan and Ceri Harrop from the Public Programmes team at Central Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and The University of Manchester.

The project aims empower young people to talk more openly about dementia, and facilitate inter-generational exchange. It’s being piloted in several secondary schools and colleges across Manchester.
