Free expert support in Patient and Public Involvement/Engagement for grant applications

The CMFT Public Programmes Team is a small specialist unit advising on and delivering patient and public involvement and engagement (PPI/E) within biomedical research. Members of the team are offering free drop-in sessions to discuss any PPI/E query that you may have regarding grant proposals involving women and/or children.

By attending the drop-in session you may also be eligible to be one of seven research groups across Greater Manchester selected by MAHSC to receive further support from the Public Programmes Team to develop your PPI/E plans and support your grant writing.

Drop-in sessions will be held:

  • Tuesday 4th October 11.00am – 2.30pm at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust- RRR Meeting Room, department 58 on Floor 2a
  • Thursday 6th October 11.00am – 2.30pm at University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) – Education and Research Centre, Discussion room B
  • Thursday 13th October 11.00am – 2.00pm at Central Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) – Seminar Room C (Research Floor, Level 5, St Mary’s Hospital)

These sessions are open to any researcher employed by a MAHSC partner organisation*, who is delivering research involving women and children.
