International Clinical Trials Day
On Wednesday 20th May we celebrated International Clinical Trials Day across Central Manchester Hospitals, with the aim of raising awareness of the clinical research that we do.
Staff from across the Research and Innovation Division took to the hospital atriums, where they manned information stands packed with competitions, activities and information about the research we conduct across our eight hospitals.
Research nurses also led our first Research Rover, which went round various clinical areas and wards (including Manchester Heart Centre, Renal, Gynaecology and Paediatrics) to speak to doctors, nurses and allied health professionals about the research going on in their area and how patients can get involved.
