Manchester Clinical Research Facility staff highlight the dedication of local pupils in new video

Staff from the NIHR/Wellcome Trust Manchester Clinical Research Facility (CRF) have taken part in a film to showcase their successful partnership with local school pupils.

Cheadle Hulme School has produced the video, now available on YouTube, to highlight some of their community and charity outreach projects.

Pupils from the school have worked closely with both the adults and children’s CRFs in the past year, with student representatives taking part in the public and patient involvement and engagement group at the CRF since last year. They have also been heavily involved in the artwork design process of the newly revamped children’s CRF.

Operational Director, Helen Pidd features in the film alongside children’s CRF staff, Lauren Lindley, Senior Clinical Research Nurse, and Emma Harrison, Healthcare Play Specialist, to explain more about the fantastic work of pupils in CRF projects.
