Event details

On Monday 23 May the official launch of the Manchester Regenerative Medicine (MaRM) Network will take place at the Whitworth Art Gallery.

Regenerative medicine aims to repair, replace or regenerate damaged tissues, using cell, or gene therapy and tissue engineering. This, however, requires a multidisciplinary approach, bringing together biologists, material scientists, bioengineers and clinicians in order to translate basic biological research into viable clinical therapies.

The evening will include:

  • short talks showcasing the breadth of of regenerative medicine from basic biology to clinical trials of novel regenerative medicines technologies taking place in Manchester
  • a plenary lecture by an internationally renowned Regenerative Medicine researcher

Once the seminars have completed, we will have the use of Gallery A, facing Whitworth park, for a fully catered Networking and poster session.

Please register your intent to attend so we can plan for the catering accordingly.
