Event details

The North West Research Programme Managers’ Network (RPMN) encourages, facilitates and supports effective research management.

The North West Research Programme Managers’ Network (RPMN) was established in 2013 to encourage, facilitate and support effective research management. The RPMN is a peer support network where central issues in research management are discussed and, as a collective, members can make a meaningful contribution to research innovation.

Aims and objectives of the RPMN include:

  • providing a network of support for programme managers across the North West
  • sharing good practice
  • discussing and evaluating new working procedures
  • constructively discussing challenges within grant management
  • establishing a shared competency framework to measure professional development

The next RPMN meeting will take place from 09.00-12.30 on Tuesday 16th October 2018 in Lecture Theatre 1 at the Education and Research Centre (ERC, entrance 15) at Wythenshawe Hospital (hospital site map here).

Car parking is available outside the Maternity Unit (entrance 13), the closest bus stop is outside the Outpatients’ entrance (entrance 5) and the closest Metrolink stop is Roundthorn on the Manchester Airport line which is about a 10 minute walk from the ERC.

Breakfast Danish pastries will be available from 08.30-09.00 and lunch will be provided at 12.30.
