Researchers bring home three awards at Greater Manchester Clinical Research Awards
On Wednesday 4th November, staff from across Greater Manchester Trusts and GP practices celebrated excellence in health research delivery at the Greater Manchester Clinical Research Awards 2015 ceremony.
Research staff and teams from across Central Manchester Hospitals picked up an impressive two awards and one special award on the night, after receiving seven nominations across five categories.
CMFT Winners:
- Best Debut: The Neonate Intensive Care Unit Research Team,
- Research Administrator/Co-ordinator of the Year: Stephanie Yau, Clinical Trials Co-ordinator for Diabetes/ Sexual Health/ Hepatology
- Martin & Debbie Special Award: Research Study of the Year – The MenCar Study (CMFT is one of a number of study sites)
Kathy Evans, Divisional Director, Research and Innovation Division said:
“I’d like to congratulate all our research staff and teams who won on the night and also to those who were nominated. These awards highlight the commitment and drive from our staff to deliver the very best research across our hospitals, so that we can improve treatment and care for patients.”
