Are you a patient, carer or family member whose life has been impacted by a medical condition?

If so, we’re keen to hear your views on how we can involve and engage patients and members of the public with our research. 

We would like to invite you to an event to help shape our plans for involving and engaging patients and members of the public in all stages of the research process, including design, delivery, applying lessons learned and the dissemination of results.

Manchester’s largest hospitals* together with The University of Manchester, are keen to hear the views of patients, carers and/or family members affected by the following conditions:

  • Cancer;
  • Dermatology;
  • Hearing;
  • Musculoskeletal; and
  • Respiratory conditions.

Attend our event to help shape our plans for involving and engaging patients and members of the public in all stages of the research process, including design, delivery, applying lessons learned and the dissemination of results.

Please note the purpose of this event is not to recruit participants to clinical studies.

Shaping Research in Manchester

Food and refreshments will be served from 5.30pm and the event will begin at 6pm.

You don’t need to have prior experience of working with researchers and, for your convenience, buffet and refreshments will be provided and reasonable travel expenses reimbursed. 

The venue is fully accessible.
