Translational Gene Therapy workshop

The Manchester Regenerative Medicine Network, in collaboration with Dr Brian Bigger, will be holding a workshop focusing on Translational Gene Therapy.
The workshop, will focus on factors impacting the movement of basic gene therapy research into clinical trial, including:
- the selection of clinically approved vectors
- GMP vector production and transduction
- regulation of ATMP clinical trials
- commercialisation considerations
There is an exciting programme which includes talks from the:
- Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)
- Syncona Partners (Commercialisation arm of the Wellcome Trust)
- The Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult
In addition to these external organisations, there will be both clinical and academic gene therapy researchers from The University of Manchester, who have first-hand experience with translational gene therapy.
