Complex Wounds

The Complex Wounds Biobank is a research tissue bank resource, facilitating studies that require specific tissue samples or data related to patients with wounds. Sponsored by the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) and supported by the University of Manchester, we provide fresh or stored tissue samples to support academics and industrial collaborators on a bespoke basis.

Researchers wishing to access tissue samples and data services from the Biobank should complete a short application and submit this for review by the Biobank. The application forms require information regarding the purpose of the research, background, funding available, research techniques/protocol proposed, types/numbers of samples required. Please contact us via email if you have any general queries.
