What is the aim of the study?

To evaluate the safety and benefit of the Argus II System in a selected outer retinal degeneration population with late stage dry age‐related macular degeneration (AMD) that is severely affecting central vision

The Argus II Retinal Prosthesis System is intended to provide electrical stimulation of the retina and will take place at the NIHR/Wellcome Trust Manchester Clinical Research Facility.
