Free car park
There is a car park at the Clinical Research Facility at Manchester Royal Infirmary on Grafton Street. It is free for research participants and other visitors to the facility.
To reach the car park, enter the hospital campus from Grafton Street by Gate 9, which is signposted “Accident and Emergency”. It is on the left hand side as you face the front of the Facility building.
If you turn onto Grafton Street from the junction with Upper Brook Street (A34), you need to take the first turning on the left, immediately before the Facility. If you come from Oxford Road (B5117), the entrance is on your right, after the entrance to Outpatients and immediately after you’ve passed the Facility building. Once you have turned off from Grafton Street, the car park is immediately on your right hand side. Please use the intercom at the barrier to contact our reception staff, who will let you in.
Leaving the Facility car park

- At the traffic lights, turn right onto Oxford Road
- Take the third right turn, onto Brunswick Street

If you need to travel south via Upper Brook Street/Anson Road (A34 towards Burnage, Parrswood, and the M56), you can take the following route:

- At the next set of traffic lights (after the pedestrian crossing), turn left onto Hathersage Road
