Clinical research studies

We currently support a number of clinical research studies, including:

  • ALIOS: This  is an international study is looking at Pharmokinetics and safety profile of single  of an antiviral study drug in otherwise healthy term infants between 1-12 months with proven RSV bronchiolitis. The single ascending and multiple ascending dosage phases of the trial are now completed  and analysis of results from all international centres are awaited.
  • Regeneron Study: A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo‑controlled Study Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of a Human Monoclonal Antibody, REGN2222, for the Prevention of Medically Attended RSV Infection in Preterm Infants.
  • SANAD II Trial: This is a national trial comparing newer vs. older antiepileptic medication
  • Corticosteroid induced cataract in childhood steroid sensitive Nephrotic syndrome
