Paediatric Critical Care

Paediatric Critical Care at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital provides care for critically ill children and their families in our Paediatric Intensive Unit (PICU) and Paediatric High Dependency Unit (PHDU).

It is one of the leading centres in the North West and the largest general PICU in the UK. A wide range of specialist services – including neurosurgery, oncology, cardiology and pharmacy – work with the multidisciplinary team to deliver paediatric critical care.
