The Manchester Heart Centre encompasses both the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery and the Department of Cardiology.

The Manchester Heart Centre has a long history and a strong track record of undertaking cutting-edge research , including commercial trials and academic studies. Our portfolio of studies encompasses both the surgical and cardiology studies in both acute/emergency and elective patient groups.
